We are so blessed to have both sides of our family just a few miles apart from each other. It makes it so easy to be able to see everyone and celebrate holidays together. The girls were so excited about Thanksgiving this year. We started out with lunch at Mamaw and Papaw's. The girls had a blast playing with Lydia - thankful for cousins! No matter the time of year we always have to have popsicles.
After lunch we headed to Nana and Papa's. This year DitDee and crew were in the mountains so we were a little short staffed. Aunt Wilma just got out of the hospital so she and Randy and Freddy joined us for dinner. Two Thanksgiving meals in one day will do you in! We tried to counteract with a walk in the woods, but I don't think it did much good. After dinner we played games and burned roasted marshmallows in the fire pit. This year I am thankful for so many things - family, friends, health, jobs, faith - too many blessings to count!
