Jack Morton Carr

Our best friends welcomed the cutest little boy into the world this week! Jack Morton Carr's birthday is August 27, 2008. He weighed 6 lb. 2 oz. - such a little guy! He is the most alert newborn I've ever been around and is such a cutie. It's been a big week for travel. I was in Virginia at the beginning of the week for work, flew home Wednesday, then drove to Destin on Thursday to meet Jack. It was well worth the trip! We are so excited to watch Jack grow and become best friends with our little girls.

The Cotton Patch

We have crib bedding! A couple of weekends ago my Mom and I went to this place in Brookhaven called The Cotton Patch. (Thank you Johnna!!) You definitely have to be looking for it - but they have a big warehouse full of cute fabrics for $5 a yard! They even have minky fabric for $12 a yard. It's a great place to rack up for all of you seamstresses out there. They are custom making the girls crib bedding for me in pink and green. Here's a sneak peek at one of the bed skirts:

December 15!!

The girls are positioned head-to-head right now.
We said they are planning their first shopping trip!

Baby A - she looks like she has a mohawk but that is her soft spot :)

Baby B is already a ham! She was moving all around until it was picture time and then she posed in a perfect sleeping position :)

Our appt. went well today. We have a preliminary C-section date - December 15! So unless I develop some complications late in the game this will be the date. The girls are weighing 7 & 8 oz. and are measuring around 18 weeks - perfect! Today she measured and checked the development of their spines, kidneys, heart, brain, and some other organs I didn't know we were looking at. Both of them were perfect. My Mom & Dad went to the visit with us and we were all excited that she treated us to the 4D pictures. I can't wait to meet these little girls - perfect Christmas presents!

Party Foul

Last night we hosted a party for our friends Josh and Kristen who are getting married in a couple of weeks. Well, about 11 pm a big storm rolled through. The wind really picked up and swept the umbrella away while shattering the glass on our patio set!! Thank goodness no one was hurt - but this was definitely a party foul in my book!
